The Cable Television Advisory Committee's primary function is to:
- Help negotiate cable licensing agreement with the Town,
- Help provide/oversee programming for school (education access) and town government, and public access
- Oversee/manage budget (from cable provider) and oversee Public Access Studio.
The current (and only) cable service provider is (COMCAST) whose license expires in June 2021.
The Community Bulletin Board is an electronic "CHARACTER GENERATOR" which can accomodate JPEG images and flash animation.
Coming soon: Automated Playback of pre-recorded programs (more programing, Information, virtual integration of local weather, national/international headlines, what happened in history this day, more recorded meetings and video on demand to Town website. Stay tuned!
Residents may request recordings of meetings for a fee of $20.00 per recording.
