Snow Removal
MGL Chapter 85, Section 7B, regarding the depositing of snow on state highways:
No person other than an employee in the service of the Commonwealth, or any political subdivision thereof, or an employee in the service of an independent contractor acting for the Commonwealth or any such subdivision shall pile, push or plow snow or ice onto a sate highway so as to impede the flow of traffic on such way. Whoever violates this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred fifty (150) dollars.
MGL Chapter 85, Section 2:
It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, other than one acting in an emergency, to park said vehicles on any street for a period of time longer than one (1) hour between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. of any day between December 1st of one year and March 31st of the next succeeding year.
